Melanie combines Food Biochemistry and Studio Art degrees from the University of California at Davis with a Culinary Arts degree from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park to create a distinct style. Restaurant, product development and food manufacturing experience offer an understanding of the processes foods endure, adding an insider's perspective to her designs.

As featured in Chocolatier and Pastry Art & Design magazines, Melanie specializes in elegant dessert styles for modern photographers. Beyond food styling, she expertly develops and test recipes, and writes culinary articles.
